Achint Kaur is an Indian actress who was born and brought up in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She shot to fame after the negative roles as Mandira and Pallavi in the TV shows Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii respectively that was aired on Star Plus. Her role as mother and Mother-in-law in her Popular Serial Jamai Raja alongside Ravi Dubey was praised amongst her fans and audience. In 1994, She started her career with the show Banegi Apni Baat on Zee TV and in 1995 she worked in the TV Show Swabhimaan. She has also appeared in the TV shows Virrudh on SONY TV and Jhansi Ki Rani on Zee TV. She won ITA Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2009 for her TV show Virrudh.
